Incredible food. The best we had in our 2 weeks touring Italy. So grateful this restaurant was recommended to us by a local. We had ravioli, grilled sheep, fresh grilled anchovies with lemon sauce, and Tirimasu.

We took a chance and got the subway from our hotel in Monti to this restaurant despite having no reservation. The staff seated us quickly and we have no complaints! The food was incredible. To be fair, we didn’t come as hungry as we could have. And we didn’t get any wine. Here’s what we ordered: insalata rughetta e parmigiano gnocchi di patate pomodoro e basilico, and tagliata di filetto mele e patate. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and our servers were great. We didn’t have a reservation, but they were kind enough to squeeze us in for about 50 minutes which was perfect since we don’t take long to eat anyway. The portions were massive and the quality of the food was excellent. Great value for the price. One of the best parts of the experience was the atmosphere. From our young friendly server to the nonna who cashed us out, it really felt like a family-run restaurant (though we’re not sure if it is). The only reason this isn’t a full 5-star review is that the carbonara was a bit too salty for our taste. But overall, a fantastic dining experience, and we’d definitely come back!
