Trattoria Cadorna

Best restaurant we tried in our visit to Rome! Such a pity we discovered it in our last night. Best lasagna and authentic Italian food (not like other "Italian" places we tried). Special mention to Luca, our waiter that night, he was so attentive, friendly and made sure we had a great night. Thank you Luca! We recommend this place 100% :)

Wow! The food and service, incredible!! Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We were lucky enough to have stumbled across this restaurant and managed to get the last table available before the reservations arrived. We ordered carbonara, lasagne and a tiramisu to share. We also got a bottle of pinot Grigio and 2 espressos, very reasonable for the portions and service received. I would recommend to anyone visiting Rome. Luckily for us, it was only a short walk from our hotel we were staying in.

A cozy traditional trattoria about 15 minutes from Termini station. It was quite busy when I visited for dinner with mostly local. Even though there were only two waiters with the restaurant being packed, service was friendly and efficient. The food was authentic Italian fare and it was delicious. Prices were slightly higher than some of the other surrounding restaurants but the portions were also larger.

Incredible food. The best we had in our 2 weeks touring Italy. So grateful this restaurant was recommended to us by a local. We had ravioli, grilled sheep, fresh grilled anchovies with lemon sauce, and Tirimasu.

We didn’t have a reservation, but they were kind enough to squeeze us in for about 50 minutes which was perfect since we don’t take long to eat anyway. The portions were massive and the quality of the food was excellent. Great value for the price. One of the best parts of the experience was the atmosphere. From our young friendly server to the nonna who cashed us out, it really felt like a family-run restaurant (though we’re not sure if it is). The only reason this isn’t a full 5-star review is that the carbonara was a bit too salty for our taste. But overall, a fantastic dining experience, and we’d definitely come back!

We ate the best meal on our first night in Rome. The food made us want to dive in and live there forever. It's as timeless as the Coloseum. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was calm and lovely.

We took a chance and got the subway from our hotel in Monti to this restaurant despite having no reservation. The staff seated us quickly and we have no complaints! The food was incredible. To be fair, we didn’t come as hungry as we could have. And we didn’t get any wine. Here’s what we ordered: insalata rughetta e parmigiano gnocchi di patate pomodoro e basilico, and tagliata di filetto mele e patate. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and our servers were great. Found this on our last night in Rome this evening and by god, I wish I'd have found it on the first night! The authentic Italian food was out of this world! Even though the waiter didn't speak much English, he went out of his way to get super kind other waiters to come and help explain what we wanted, nothing was too much trouble for them! Super cute little restaurant with amazing staff,atmosphere and reasonably priced Grazie Millie for an amazing last night:)
